    I am new to HDTV and was just wondering, does the quality still look good on dvd after it is converted from hdtv? Also what program is the best? I have HDTV2DVD and HDTV to MPEG2.

    hdtvtompeg2 doesn't convert to dvd mpeg2, it just "convert" the hdtv ts file(s) to a standard mpeg2 file that is easier to convert.


    hdtv2dvd is easiest or divxtodvd. you can test other converters like canopus procoder, mainconcept mpeg encoder, tmpgenc plus, hc...
