Samsung website doesn't list RF connector as one of the connectors on the series 6 HDTV's. How does one receive off-air broadcasts, then?

Yes, they do. Look for an ATSC tuner for digital broadcasts. There would be no point having an ATSC tuner if it didn't have an antenna input. They also have tuners for analog OTA broadcast and analog cable. Mine has separate inputs for an antenna (ATSC and NTSC) and cable (analog and QAM).
