Hi I got alot of anime that I REALLY WANT to burn out to DVD-discs and then play on my DVD. Iv'e got nero 7 and Roxio 8, and most of my anime is OGG or MKV but i can change them in to avi with alltoavi. When I try to burn on roxio it won't accept any of the files, and nero won't accep any of the MKV or Ogg and when i try the avi files Nero crashes

Can som1 plz tell what I need to do to get Nero to accept my files or tell me of an other program then nero.

Separate the audio from the AVI before converting to mpv or m2v...Use DVDLab to craete DVD..its much better than Nero...Sure Nero can do things fast but faster means low quality...

Most MKV anime nowdays use AAC audio..convert this to WAV using Goldwave and then convert to AC3 using Besweet..You can also use MPA and MP2....NO MP3!!..

Oh yes...putting AVI into Nero meaning you're telling Nero to encode the AVI to MPG.....Nero dont accept some AVI especially AVI with Xvid or Divx codec...Use Tmpgenc to encode AVI to MPG (or M2V video only, I've told you to separate audio from the AVI).

If you need to work fast..use Mainconcept for faster encode..

Creating DVD using MKV or OGM is HARD...next time, download AVI anime cos its easier to make DVD with it..MKV is only good for watching on PC..
Do you know why people mostly use Mac in their office?
Because a lot of stress can lead people to jump off the "Windows".

We have quite a few guides on how to convert/burn MKV/OGM. Why not read some of those?

Ok thx greator i'll try to do what you said i'll post my progress later.

kschang iv'e read several guides but none has helped and it has wasted alot of my time, I don't mind if the encoding and burning takes time as long as it's work or atleast takes me one step forward.

If you want a couple of easy programs, you could try ConvertXToDVD or the older freeware version, DivxToDVD. SUPER is also easy and handles a lot of formats. It you want the best quality, then the individual tools and a fairly steep learning curve and a lot of reading may be required to get started.

    And welcome to our forums.
