Odd situation/question for all you ffmpegX gurus out there:
I just noticed the "Dual CPU" threading option in the mpeg2enc options pane. I enabled it, and it actually was slower at encoding my file than the "Normal" setting. Does that make sense? Anyone else have experience with it?
Here's my setup:
Dual 2.0 GHz G5 / 2GB RAM / OS 10.4.4 / ffmpegX 0.0.9v
XViD AVI -> mpeg2enc DVD, subtitles
Shed someon this issue if you can...
Thanks,
Matthew
