    i have a usb data cord for it and when i plug it in, it charges but XP does not reconize it at all. and i also need a free sync program for the lg ax4270. my provider is Alltel.

    i have bitpim and my phone isn't supported with bitpim. i even tried other CDA phone but that didn't work. ive been stuck on this problem forever lol
    My computer doesn't even reconize my phone. i think i just need different drivers for my cord? im not sure wht brand the cord is but its supported for the LG VX7000 and does charge my phone.

    Usually they give you a software disc. Just call your provider and let them know and they'll either give you a website, email, or send a disc with the software driver on it. Happens all the time.

    so you suggested calling alltel and tell them what i have and they will give me an address for the drivers i need for my phone?

    yeah, call your service provider. At the very least they can tell you the manufacturer of your phone and direct you to where you can download the drivers, though most providers actually have a link to the drivers you need.

    Again, they may direct you to a site to download, send an email with the driver. I've heard in very rare cases that they'll send a disc via mail.
