I encoded some Fraps screen captures in Windows Media Encoder HD (5 mbps 1280 by 720), and the contrast is screwed over. Someone told me that contrast depends on the player, not on the encoder. But Windows Media Player plays the file with very light contrast, and the preview function in the encoder does that as well. Why is this happening?
