Hi:
I have the following problem: my system is an Athlon 1Ghz, 512 SDRAM, Asus V7700 Deluxe and Windows XP. I installed the Detonator 23.11, and WDM 1.08. What happens? Well when i use Virtual Dub, Asus VCR or PowerVCR to capture an AVI file (640x480, 29,97fps, Cd quality audio, etc, etc), well, the file (i think) is toooo large, about 250MB/1minuteAND when i play back the video, it looks very strange (not fluid). I have installed a lot of codecs, compressors, etc, etc, but it seems i'm unable to pick the right mix of them to get a good video file.
The most strange? think is when i capture with PowerVCR to MPEG file, 720x480, etc, etc, the video looks pretty cool, the audio too and the size of the file is incredible good.
The biggest problem is that i want convert some VHS videos to SuperVideo CD, and the driver is unable to capture MPEG at 480x480, so i have to convert, MPEG to MPEG or AVI to MPEG.
Well, that is my problem, any help out there????
Flavio
