I was in the middle of burning a CD (old time radio shows) for a friend when my burner just died (sigh). This was about a month or so ago. But yesterday, UPS delivered an NEC 3550A combo burner (grin) from NewEgg.com which I'll be installing probably on Sunday morning - or sooner if I have time to do it without rushing. The last DVD I burned was a region-free NTSC backup of the region 2 PAL DVD I bought from a store in the UK.

Last CD was an VCD for my sister of my wife's ultrasound of our son, taken >3 years ago. Last DVD I burned was a Thomas the Tank Engine DVD. My son ruined a couple of the others I had already burned for him. Good thing they are easy to back-up. I keep the originals safe in my closet.
