    i have a video ts folder containing vobs. is there a way of finding out if these are ntsc or pal? my dvd player plays both but id like to find out which it is

    If they are 25fps, then they are PAL. NTSC would be 23.976 or 29.970. Gspot can tell you that.

  4. DGMPGDec DGIndex is easy to use. It puts up a panel of information while the title is playing. Format is part of what it diplays.

    There are some other methods as well. Open a VOB with IFOEdit and it will tell you what the resolution and frame rate are. Also, the free version of the Teco Bit Rate Viewer at http://www.tecoltd.com can tell you the resolution and frame rate. Before there ever was a Gspot, I used the commercial version of the Teco product.
