trimming and burning dvd`s

hi- can anyone suggest the easiest software (for an absolute novice) that will trim a dvdrw to extract the film and then burn on to dvd all suggestions welcome - have tried nero 7 and sonic dvdit but too complicated regards jeff jones

tmpgenc dvd author, add dvd video, select the video_ts folder on the dvdrw, edit, make menu, author and burn.

Are you trying to make a movie only rip of a DVD or author a DVD or what? im confused as to what you are trying to do? I dont think i have ever heard anyone say Nero and "too Complicated" in the same sentence. Maybe a little more info and we can help

hi- i usually set my recorder to record from the satellite receiver and let it run for the full 3.20 hrs then the next day review it and if there is a film on it worth saving i want to extract the film by trimming the start and finish of the dvdrw and then put on to a dvd-jeff jones
