    Is it possible using LP Recorder to access audio files already on my hard drive in order to trim and edit them?

    take a look at Audacity to record,edit, your LP's , it has more features and yes you can access the audio files already on your hard drive for trimming & editing.

    you can even add VST Plug-Ins to process your recordings (eq,reverb,compression,etc.. etc)
