    Anybody tried to replace DVD/CD Rewritable drive to a DVD Recorder ILO DVDR04 ?
    I put one from my pc and I can play any dvd but can't record.

    Actually, I have exactly the opposite problem.
    I can record any +Rx disc I want, but I can no longer play a factory disc. I have put 3 different drives in there, all record fine. Models I had access to were LG 4163b, liteon sohw1693, and benq 1620.
    All recorded better (less picky about media) than the ddw451s that came out.
    The problem with playback of encrypted discs was noticed yesterday with the liteon.
    A good divorce beats a bad marriage.
    Now I have two anniversaries I celebrate!
