    ive downloaded a video file,the picture is excellent but the sound is garbled,its an xvid file,is there anyway i can fix it?

    explain garbled - wrong speed, wrong pitch, noise

    chances are there is nothing you can do, but a starting point would be to use g-spot to determine if you have the correct codecs installed.

    You cant understand a word there saying,its hard to explain but the noise is like a high pitch squeal.G spot tells me i have the correct codecs installed.
