I have burned about 50 or so vcd's with 3 different brand of cd-r's and they all work in the computer. The cheap brand called Prime Peripherals have a paper texture label and they work just fine in my new Samsung DVD player. The Hewlett Packard cd's and FujiFilm cd's have the smooth texture and they don't seem to play. My question is should I put labels on them or does that make any difference? I think it's funny that the cheap cd's work but not the good quality brand names.

Since nobody repied with an answer for me I went out and bought cd labels and found out that even with a label the HP and Fuji cd's still will not work in my dvd player.
