  1. I have just used dvd fab decrypter, and then try to use 1click dvd 4.1 to burn it back but when i do this is stops after 20% with an error and shutes down. It was working 4 days ago and now it is now. Is there a better program to use to put the dvd back on a dvd for backup after dvdfab decrypter?

    Thanks

  3. How about telling us the title of the movie. (To confirm or rule out whether the problem is ARccOS structural protection).

  4. Sure it is: in your shoes and also Empire.

  5. "In Her Shoes" is 20th Century Fox. "Empire" is an Arenas Entertainment release, if you mean the John Leguizamo film. Shouldn't be ARccOS.

You could try another ripper, DVDShrink for instance. See if it alone can back up the disc. (DVDFabDecrypter will ignore read errors without telling you and its output is sometimes not accepted by other apps. The fix for that is to run the Fab output through FixVTS. But that shouldn't apply in this case). Give DVDShrink a try, though. Just guessing here.

Dunno about 1ClickDVD, never used it. It would probably help to know the error message.

  6. Ok the movie is the new "in Her shoes" with Cameron Diaz 2005, I typed the wrong title name.

The error mesg for 1clickdvd is: Copy DVD Movies with 1 Click has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Should I still try the samething?

    Thanks

  7. Not a very helpful error message, is it? Unless someone else has a better idea, I'd try another ripper. If nothing else, you'd get a real error message from DVDShrink, like "invalid navigation blah blah" (which means DVDFabDecrypter buggered the file structure). Or "CRC error", (defective or damaged disc).

Or run the decrypted files through FixVTS and try 1Click on the output. You gotta be willing to try a few things. Good luck.
