Are you updating to latest version? Just install it..It'll install to the same folder and overwrite all files..
Or are you having probs with it,that you need to uninstall it first..

I also have a question about DVD Fab...I kept trying to make a backup of Christmas with the Kranks and DVD Fab errored out on me, so I updated to the latest Nov. 30th release, and it still errors out a quarter of the way through the disc...any ideas on how I would go about finding out what the problem was? Does it create a log file like ImgBurn and so many other programs?

Thanks in advance for any replies....

I just backed it up with Ver. 5.1.2.2 and had no problems.
Do you "errror out" when you try both FULL DISK and MAIN MOVIE modes?
Did you check the disk for dirt or maybe a scratch?
    Is your HD fairly unfragmented?

    Good luck.

Hi MrBill, I finally got Christmas with the Kranks to fully copy with AnyDVD. I had downloaded and installed the trial version of it, which seems to be a very simple program, but am rather surprised that there are so few options for you to do anything within the program.

Thank you anyway for the prompt reply, it is much appreciated.

    Sincerely,

HmNtR, some movies still have errors with DVDfab. I never could copy the movie Shrek for my little girl because of errors. It would get to 90% and stop. So I've had a couple of cases where that has happened. But for the most part, DVDfab is the best all-round software for copying.

It could be the drive. My Lite-on sometimes refuses to read (errors out) discs which my LG reads OK.
