Can someone tell me how to restore the W32.dll file in Windows 2000 that was inadvertantly deleted by anti-virus? Absence of the file has cause some Internet Explorer disfunction by which progress of scan and viruses found by PandaSoftware Activescan aren't displayed as they used to be.

might try running system file checker first.
may be prompted for the windows install cd
start>run type in: sfc /scannow -
That's what I'd try first. Note the space after sfc and before the slash.
Pull! Bang! Darn!
