    Hi,
    For some reason, when I try to convert my AVI to DVD the sound comes out sounding like a bunch of chipmunks talking. My AVI plays wonderfully with Windows Media Player but when converted, the sound takes on a mind of its own. I have tried converting the file with two different programs (DIKO & WINAVI), both with the same results. Does anyone have advanced knowledge on this? Any info would be appreciated!

    At a guess, and without any real information, I would say poor upsampling of VBR MP3 source audio.
