When undoubtedly is misread as unfortunately.

  6. he said undoubtedly, not unfortunately...but yes, in the case of dual layer discs, it is unfortunate...........stick to verbatim's with the dual layers.

I only got 2 packs of Titaniums and they burned fine for me.

  8. CMC MAG D01 is the dye on them, and really, they should be called datashite titanium 2.4speed DL discs.
utter crap,i tried a pack, albeit at a reduced price of £10 for 10,and never again.
not had a problem apart from a couple of ritek ones,no problems with verbatim, but these, man, what a crock of shite they were the burns were bad, playback was extremely flawed, lots of breakup, and my players didnt like the layer changes, just too much of a pause, and then 9 times out of 10 it would spit it out.
and that was using decrypter iso read/write.
i actually thought they were fake,as the quality in the tub was mediocre at best, lots of scratched edges, and some spots that looked almost like grit on the disc surface, and that was a sealed tub.---advice-STAY AWAY,spend your cash on some quality verbatim.

The ones I used (I have 6 of them) had a printable surface and were 2.4x. I burned mostly archived data to them and haven't had any problems reading from them. One or two of them have movies (DivX) on them and they play fine in my external players and recorders. No issues to report. I was given them from a friend who said he didn't like them for the same reasons RottenFoxBreath posted.

You may want to heed the advice provided. Verbatims seem to be quite reliable amongst everyone I've talked to. They are also one of the more cheaper name brand discs.

yeah, price was a thing for me for a while, but verbatims were the same price as the full price tub of datawrite titaniums/ritek(or another random named disc),which i found strange, but never one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

My mistake on my post, lordsmurf. Knowing your feelings on Ritek disks, I read it as "unfortunately".
