    hi people,

im arron just like to stay i would appreciate any response and help with this, i have used Diko and tried converting 10 episodes of curb your enthusiam, simply just to play on a pal dvd player. i have used nero 7 instead as it had the simple functions to create a dvd simply by by a few clicks, so all was well, when the menu was being transcoding and scences too. but when the dvd came to be burnt. tried it on the pc, its readable and reads in my dvd player and comes with menu, but loads up, but the problem, is that it cant navigate through menu or play, why

  2. Nero is buggy as authoring tool. It burns quite good, but authors relatively bad.

  4. You? I don't know really. Obviously, use what is good for you.
I am using muxman or GFD for authoring.

hi me again. tried another conversion through diko, still took a whole night to do 10 episodes of curb your enthusiam. i just to make a simple menu wiith navigation and episodes on them. i have tried nero 7. worked but didnt play or navigate through the menus or even on the pc. do the files have to be converted into audio_ts and video_ts???? and then use nero to burn it on dvd then it should work?

i have just used winavi convertor to convert an .avi to dvd file i hope it has worked. but how would a menu be stored and then joined on when i come to nero to be burn.

i would normally click on winavi and then click on option, burn dvd files, it would open up nero and then where do i go from there?

im using nero 7 ! please help!!!!!

can someone get in contact with me im on msn

    Don't. (Use Nero, that is.)
Convert your AVIs to DVD specs MPG. (See the convert section left)
    Author with TDA.
    Avoid oneclickwonder apps.

Creating a DVD with a menu is quite beyond dragging files this way or that.
Once you have your AVIs encoded to DVD specs mpg, author them with TMPGEnc DVD Author (TDA). One of the beauties with TDA, is that it creates a title and chapter menu for you. You can choose between a # of templates. Once TDA has finished authoring, it can even burn it to disc. You don't have to bother with folders or files or anything. Even if Nero is good at burning stuff, it's not necessary to involve it at all in this procedure.
