    Is it normal for a 1 hour 17 minutes DVD movie to take 7 hours to rip to MPEG(2) ?
    I'm using No1DVD Ripper and thats the time estimate to rip to HardDrive
    I want to edit the movie ( and I only have program to edit MPEG files )

    If it can be done faster, what program(s) is recommended
    QUALITY is not the "biggest" concerns

    is it better to rip to AVI or MPEG ?



    by the way, I tried the methods and recommendations in the sticky above these topics before I started .
