Going from MPEG2-->MPEG4. I gave up on H.264; that always produced a sync error. But when using .AVI via mencoder, MPEG4 files played nicely. When using .MOV via ffmpeg, they didin't play so nice.

Testing now with .AVI via ffmpeg to see if it is a ffmpeg problem.

I want these files to play in QuickTime so they're easier for my dad. (The files are TiVo files of one of his shows that he likes, minus the DRM) The .AVI files play in VLC but VLC sometimes has lag issues on his laptop, plus he likes QuickTime better.

    Thanks.

Alright... the AVI made with ffmpeg seems to drift between in-sync and no-sync. It's hard to tell, but I don't think it is correct.
