I just noticed that a topic I posted earlier in "BluRay-Ripping" is probably more related to video conversion that ripping.
This might not be the way to go, but if you have some experience with possible problems involving "mpeg4 AVC" (but not VC-1) I would appreciate you checking out the following link.
