    Hi

    Lately some of my videos has been lagging, using windows media player. They don't lag when using VLC player but I prefer WMP.

    The codecs I got installed: DivX, XviD and ac3filter, any suggestions to what the problem could be?

    I also have "Quicktime Alternative" and "Real Alternative" installed.

    If the video doesn't lag with VLC but it does with WMP, this means that the video is OK but the problem is with WMP.

    WMP is known to all a number of bugs and if you do a forum search, a number of people do have problems with WMP. All I can suggest is to use the alternative player, VLC.

    okay thanks for the fast respons, I was thinking it could be a codec problem since VLC does have alot of them build in... I will just use VLC for the videos that lags but if anyone got an idea if it could be a codec missing or something, please let me know
