    Can anyone guide me in the direction of a free program that cuts MOV files? I have some videos taken with my iPhone 4 that I want to cut into multiple smaller files without losing quality. Basically, I don't want to convert them to a different format, I just want to cut them and save each part that I cut as a different video.

    it depends on the type of mov (use mediainfo) , and what type of compression

    try mpegstreamclip + quicktime alternative

    quicktime pro (not free) will do it for sure, keeping the mov container

    I decided to go with Quicktime Pro and it does what I need. Thank you. I think it's ridiculous, however, that they charge $30 for it. Especially considering that I had already purchased iMovie for iPhone, which is specifically designed to edit these types of videos, and that doesn't do what I need. But again, thank you for the suggestion.
