I know alot of people have been having problems with Wedding Crashers. I just recently bought my movie and was trying to back it up last night. It ripped fine and everything but when I tried to open it in Vobblanker, blanker didnt like the VOB or VTS (i forget what it is) that held the main movie. I'm guessing this is because this contains both the theatrical and uncorked versions. I'm not sure how to get around this however. If anyone knows, please let me know. It probably isnt possible but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway.

I already read that...thats what i was refering too:
I know alot of people have been having problems with Wedding Crashers
Maybe I didnt read it throroughly enough but I didnt see any mention about how to fix the problem i was having with VOBBlanker. I will read through it again. I checked out the links in that post before as well and there was a mention of VOBBlanker but not really how they used it to back up wedding crashers.

You didnt get some message with blanker telling you that it was skipping the movie VTS for some reason (I'm assuming b/c of the duel versions)??

    I just don't get it....

This disc opens in DVD Shrink ALONE!!
Rips with DVD Decrypter and opens in shrink ALONE!!

Did not need Anydvd or anything else.

I did this dvd both ways, full disc and movie only, both worked fine.

My buddie did this movie (Decrypter & shrink)
And his brother did this movie (shrink only)

All 3 of us have 3 diff. originals from 3 diff. places.

In all honesty, I did not try shrink alone, or decrypter alone. I wanted to do it right the first time, so I used anydvd and decrypter to rip and shrink to shrink.

How is it "doing it right the first time" by using anydvd when it is not even needed
DVD Decrypter rips this disc alone

I use anydvd for every disc I rip. It worked for me and that is all that matters.

I never use any DVD. And I dont need VOBBLanker but like ghoster I just wanted to get rid of the extra stuff. I was using the newest version of Blanker as well. Maybe I just need to rerip the DVD and try it again.

  14. VobBlanker doesn't process Multi-angle/ILVU movies. So, don't process the movie. Just process (blank out) out the rest of the stuff you want to get rid of. Skip the movie and whatever else you want to keep, blank out what you want, save to a new location, and then move the new files back into the original DVD files.

Thats what I figured.... I was just wondreing if there was a way to get around that with VOBBlanker so that I can edit some things on the movie I dont like (ie credits, some menus, etc). I figured there probably isnt but figured that it doesnt hurt to ask. I did alot of figuring

  16. No, you can't edit the movie in that way using VobBlanker when the movie has angles or ILVU. I think you may be able to using PGCEdit, but since I don't do that kind of thing, I'm not positive. Nor can you edit the menu with VobBlanker if it's in the same VTS as the movie. However, MenuEdit can edit buttons easily, and MenuShrink can do such things as replace motion menus with stills, and save a ton of space with large menus. PGCEdit can also do similar things.
