    1) Let's take Wedding Crashers for example, the first thing that plays when u run the DVD is the New Line Cinema logo I think. I want to change it so that it plays the main menu which is VTS_02_0.VOB first, instead of the logo. How would I do that?

    2) Let's stick with Wedding Crashers. Let's say I want the movie to play first, which is VTS_02_1.VOB. How would I do that?

    3) And last but not least. This is just out of plain curiosity but the movie originally, plays the logo then a few trailers of other movies before playing the main menu. How exactly do you set the order of what plays?

    Thanks.

Is there a simpler way to do it? Since that guide is really complicated.

There are several guides linked to from the Pgcedit page here at videohelp.com -- maybe something there might help. You can also look for guides and threads on using VobBlanker, or look into just re-creating the DVD using an authoring or rebuilding prog.

This might be a dumb question, but why can't I just change the 2nd line in the First-Play PGC, to jump directly to the menu or movie?

http://www.dvd-replica.com/ has some decent info that might help you out. Also Pgcedit can do a whole lot -- the guides are an altruistic effort on the writer's part to help out other folks, but they can't cover everything. As long as you've got backup copies, dive on in & see what works for ya.

  7. Hi-

While the guide to which guns1inger linked works, and I used to use it, it's now obsolete since the "Jump To PGC" Macro became available. Here's an easier to follow guide:

    http://home.tiscali.be/debie.roland/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/How_to_use_PgcEdit_new_macro.htm

If that's still too hard for you to follow, either use PGCEdit to have the pre-menu stuff not play at all by using its Trace function combined with the "Kill PGC Playback" button, or use VobBlanker to blank that stuff out. This is basic stuff that you'll have to learn at some point.
