I'm sorry that I'm having to post this, but I promise I have searched through the site and read a lot of information and I still can't figure this out. I have some QuickTime MOV files that I'm trying to convert to MPEGs so I can put them on VCD. I'm using TMPGEnc to do this. For some reason, the QuickTime ones won't work properly. At first they wouldn't work at all and now I can get them to convert, but there is no sound, and I really don't understand the information on the help page regarding what to do when there is no sound (I'm very new to this and don't know much). Someone else I know recommended I try using BinkVideo to convert the MOV to an AVI file and then use TMPGEnc but that didn't work either...when I tried to import the AVI file TMPGEnc told me that it was unsupported.

The other problem I'm having is that I have one single Windows Media Player file that won't convert. I must have at least fifty that I've done without any difficulty, but when I try and do this one it says it's unsupported.

If anyone can help me with these issues I would really appreciate it...and I need the help to be in the simplest terms possible

    Thanks,
    Kelly

  2. You may require the QTReader.vfp for TMPGEnc

And you may need to use RADTools to convert the sound from the Mac Type to the PC Type.

This is a WinAVI spammer. Don't ever buy their products if this is the amount of respect they have for others.
