Hi everyone.
I have read some of the problems here associated with Sony DVD camcorders compatibility with Macs. Unfortunately I only found this out AFTER my colleagues got me a Sony 703e DVDCam as a gift.
I was wondering that as the Mac doesn't register that the camcorder has been connected, cant play the DVDs and the Sony doesn't have a firewire connector...could I not just install Virtual PC and access the camera through that? Or would the transfer of movie files through the Macs USB connector still block it?
Thanks
Patrick

Hi pjo2001,
You might also try checking out www.camcorderinfo.com - they might have some help too.
