  1. I was wondering what difference does it make in the output files if I use DVD decrypter in IFO mode or files mode, if I am planning to rip the output to DivX or XviD.

I know that if IFO mode is used then you can extract the program chains but this option is not available in files mode but what difference does it make down the line of conversion?

    Thanks

Depends on what your AVI encoder expects as source. AutoGK and avi.net wants the source to be one VOB, so I rip in ifo mode (main title only) and set file splitting to "none".

  4. IFO Mode. If you just decrypt in file mode, there might be other stuff in the same VTS, not to mention the mess you'll make of it if it's multi-angle.
