dvd creater of xp how to adda different background

Hello Please forgive me if it is in the wrong thread. it is a general question:

I have Xp (o.s) and win dvd creater 2. I am at the area where I am adding or making the movie, the next step after editing.

I am able to choose a number of lay outs that are by far useless to me I uderstand they are mjpeg backgrounds
1. How do I go about placing my own background in there?

A. I understand how to get to my computer/programs/win dvd creater/ shared /themes that is where the files should be located. I tried just adding a jpeg and it failed , not to work.

Please help out I am basicaly looking for a movie reel orsomething better to burn my dvd movies to rather choosing an opening screen
