  1. Hello all,
I'm in the process of trying to create a christmas DVD for the family. I have a fireplace video which I would like to have playing while there are numerous christmas songs playing in the background. I've been searching and searching trying to find an easy way to do this.
So I have a fireplace.avi file with no audio. And I would like to have around 50 - 60 christmas songs (all mp3 format) playing in the background. And I don't feel like taking 24 hours to join all of the songs together using Audacity to make a single background mp3.
Is there a program out there that I can use to have the fireplace.avi file playing and create a playlist that will play in the background?
    I was just wondering
    Thanks in advance.

On VideoDVD, audio and video are linked together. You can't have one video layer and one audio layer, that play and loop independently from eachother.
You'll either have to make one AVI matching each mp3 (that has to be converted to a valid DVD audio format anyway) or make all mp3s match the AVI.
I'd be lazy, and use what I have; Widows Movie Maker. Load the AVI, load the MP3s and add them to the audio track one after another. Save out as DV.
Encode DV to DVD specs A/V and author, possibly setting chapter points at each new song.
