Hey i'm having problems playing back vcds that i make and burn using nero on the apex 1500, the audio goes out of sync every now and then and it seems that the video skips a frame everynow and then. But the thing is..these vcds work perfectly on my pc.. now is it the dvd player, or the cdrs?
is it possible that i could buy another dvd player and the problem be solved? i dont think it could be the cdrs though because other vcds that i download which i dont encode myself, play fine....anybody have any suggestions??!?!

The problems you mentioned could be caused by various things. You have basically named them all yourself. You could try taking your "faulty" disk into a shop and test them on various standalone DVD players to see if they play better. If they do, you know that your DVD player at home can't handle your VCD's so well (this could have to do with the inbuilt processor, the firmware or even the laser/lens configuration reading the reflective layer of your CD-R(W).
