    Hi all...

I am using Widows Movie Maker to capture and edit. How do I use it to make DVD? Or it's not one of the option from movie maker.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Simba

Been a while since I used Movie Maker.

But Authoring a DVD was not an option.
Making a movie was OK & viewing on PC or emailing as an WMV was fine.

You will have to look at tools (on LHS of screen) for Authoring and take your pick for the next step.

No. It can't output mpeg2 (the video format of DVD) or author to DVD standards. You can use it to edit DV footage and to output DV avi to encode and author elsewhere.

WMM is pretty limited. You would be better off using other programs. You may be able to make the output a DV file and convert that to DVD MPEG-2 format with other programs, then you would still have to author it.

What format are you capturing in?
