    I have a few tv movies i want to put on cd but they are in mpeg 4 format. I've tried a few programs but, nothing works. I would appreciate any help..Thaks

    Post g-spot screen shots and a better idea of what you are really trying to do. If you just want them on CD, burn them as data.

    i got the same problem. and my dvd-player dont take mp4. but actually i dont want them avi, i want them mpeg2 so that i can use dvd lab to turn them in a dvd with menu. somebody knows an good program ? or an mencoder commandline?

  5. Try VSO Divx to DVD

    This programme can transfer mp4 to dvds directly and even burns the dvd.If there is any audio shift it will tell you how much and correct it automatically while encoding

    no , because i got 4 files that i want to put on 1 dvd (with menu and stuff), with dvd lab. i dont know how that should go with the whole vobs. i´m german and dont understand so much english. thats why i want to do it my way

    DivxtoDVD will create the VOBs you need. You can load these into DVD Lab Pro (demux when it asks) and add your menus.

    i got mp4cam2avi and that converts the mp4 files in avi (takes about 30min) then i could encode them to everything i wanted to!!! and good quali!!!

    I've been able to encode mp4 videos to mpeg-2 (and subsequently author and burn to DVD) using Avisynth and TMPGEnc Plus.
