I get VHS in black and white on windows and I have an ATI Tv Wonder Pro. If I open virtualdub in capture mode with VCR on then it's black and white but if I turn on the VCR when it's in virtualdub in capture mode then it's not. Any ideas?

A guess might be that you've got signal ( maybe signal strength) prob from the vcr, or else you're running into macrovision. One of those boxes for improving clarity might help -- I think you might find one at Best Buy or Radio Shack locally -- but try and make sure it's good for macrovision by researching whatever brand/model on-line.

I think it's a problem with the drivers because it doesn't do this in linux or my old tv card.
