I've been backing up DVD's for quite a while. but always just the full DVD.
I've set up a monster of a Server to hold all my media so that it can be networked to my DVD/MPeg4 players and TV's around th house.
I'd like to convert the episodes on my season DVD's (such as Buffy, X-Files etc.) to Xvid (or DivX) so that I can store the file son the server for easy access.
I've done a search but not found anything which gives a step by step guide!
I've got a feeling it may involve DVD Decrypter in IFO mode and A.N. Other application!
Is there a simple way to do this?
Cheers
Tony

Here's how I'd do it:
Batch rip the eps with DVDDecrypter - https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1373527#1373527
Encode to XviD using AutoGK (guides on the tool page).
I normally do all the ripping first, then just queue everything up in AutoGK and let it go, sometimes for days on endIf in doubt, Google it.
