    Hi,
    I'm a noob so please be kind! I captured some clips off of a laserdisc, and these are the results. These "color bands" appear in the middle of the screen. Is this laser rot? I have uploaded an image that exhibits my dilemma. I have used several filters, trying to remove them in virtualdub, but it was not a success. The filters I used were (but not at the same time) denoise, and temporal smoother. Has anybody ever dealt with this? Thanks for your time!

    Does anybody know that this is in fact caused by laser rot?
