    I've got a mpg movie (mpeg2) but it doesn't play on Windows Media Player or DivX. It plays for 10 seconds at the beginning but you don't see anything than it stops by itself. I've just started learning about all this stuff (look at the date I registered) so can anyone help me out by telling me what I need to do.

    I'm not sure if the file is corrupt or whether I need to download something or what, so yeah... I need help.

    Also if this is in the wrong forum can a mod move it to the right one.

    can you play other mpeg2 files? could be some mpeg2 decoder problem.

    and try play with vlc, it has it own mpeg2 decoder.

    Never tried to play an mpeg2 before so not sure about a decoder problem.

    Tried playing it with VLC but still no look. Can anyone help?
