    Those are great. For further reading on the subject, see this thread. My contribution was this suggestion:

    Yeah, yeah, I know, yours are real. I'm actually half tempted by the cassette deck.

    Yeah the cassette deck would make tape dubbing to mp3 a lot clearer wouldn't it??? I mean since your doing a direct transfer without the extra analog plugs from a cassette deck. I would imagine the output would be cleaner.

    I imagine it would be just as easy to install a car cassette deck into the 5.25" drive bay. The PS can supply the necessary 12 volts DC to get the thing going. Use the amplifier out section to send a line level signal to the soundcard's analog audio port and you're set. Also... has AM/FM capability. Hmm... I have a PC at home that is just aching to be blown up. I'll have to try this.

    @Smearbrick1

    if you manage to get it working please let me know because I have a few old daskmounts which appear to fit in the 5 1/4 slots and would like to utilize them. If not the price for the above item isn't that expensive so I guess I'll add it to my list.

    I already own the cigarette lighter/cup holder slot item. It is very useful but it's also a great novelty item. I got mine at tigerdirect a year or so ago. Since them I've bought 2 more for other chain smonkers who always seem to misplace their lighters.
