Vobsub filter can't read DVD subtitles

I rent a DVD film that as just one subtitle; Portuguese.
When i try to use VirtualDub and vobsub to frameserve to CCE when configuring vobsub it just can't "see" DVD subtitle. It's the first time this happened. I've a lot of SVCD that i make the same way and all work.
Can everyone help me ?

Try this;

do not pick the portuguese subtitle, just try another stream. (even when it says that nothing is stored besides Potuguese) Sometimes subtitles are not stored where they should be.

I've tried all. Can't find them.

This happened to me once....

In my case; the rip was not correct (the subtitles) I opened Vobsub and ripped the subtitles directly from the DVD, and that worked.

I installed Vobsub 2.06 and evrything is working again. I was using Vobsub 1.56.
