Any work arounds for backing up Schindler's list? I am not able to read the disc let alone rip it. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Do a search on "Schindler's List", you'll get a couple of pages of results. I had a quick look and it seems there is no special protection on it. But several people had trouble, nevertheless, in ripping it.
Some things to try, in no particular order:
1) Use another reader if you have one, say a DVD-ROM rather than your RW drive.
2) Clean the disc. Clean the reader.
3) Use DVDDecrypter in file mode rather than ISO or IFO.
4) One guy found out Norton was interfering with the rip. No idea how that could be, but...[shrug]
5) Start the movie in your software player, then close.
6) Try another ripper, i.e. SmartRipper, DVDFabDecrypter, DVDShrink.
7) Maybe the disc is defective and you're outta luck?Exchange it.
Just off the top of my head. Good luck.Pull! Bang! Darn!
