I want to build a media center PC, from which I can play all my DVDs. However, when I burn a DVD to my PC with DVD Decrypter or Nero, it results in a bunch of audio and video TS files. Is there a way to recombine them in a way that are playable under windows media center OS?

make an iso with dvd decrypter and mount as a virtual dvd drive with daemon tools.

You dont need to do anything with them ... just install power dvd and select 'open dvd files on hard disk drive' (from menu button .. bottom right of player controls) and select the VIDEO_TS folder that was created by dvddecrypter and hit play

The way I do it on my my media PC is to convert them to Xvids with a program like FairUse Wizard. This reduces the filesize to about 700MB, allowing me to fit quite a few on my hard drive. The quality is not as good as a 1:1 DVD backup, but it's better than broadcast TV.
If I am going to watch a regular DVD, I use a standalone player. I don't see much purpose to tying up my computer to do what a DVD player does better and easier.
