VCD on PSOne with LCD

Is it possible to playback VCDz on a PSONe with the LCD Screen attached? I have one comin and was going to see about ordering a GAMAR movie card or a DIY Movie Card II. Will they hook up with the LCD screen attached. If anyone has done this, please advise.

Dont know the correct answer to your question, but I do own an unused Gamars movie card. I will sell this to anyone who is interested.. I unfortunately have one of the only psones that isn't compatible with it.

I can't really answer your question, but some basic research should be enough.

Look up how the VCD add-on works on the PS One (how it is attached) and how the LCD screen attaches. As I recall, the LCD screen has to attach to the back of the PS One, so if the VCD add-on has to do the same thing, you're going to have problems.
