Can anyone recommend another audio CD burner. My Nero has now decided to skip, and I got tired of trying to find a solution. I use Cheetah with no problems except that It does not allow you to remove the spaces between tracks on a live CD to give one seamless track.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Roxio is pretty good
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  3. RecordNow is usually recommended.

What speed are you burning at? As sketchy as Nero can be for DVD, I've never had issues with it as an audio burner (I use 6.6.something)

  4. In Nero, if you select all but the first track & go to Properties, you can make the pause btw tracks 0 seconds for seemless play (unless your ripper adds seconds to the mp3s.)

I have 40x burner, but have dropped down to the lowest burn rate with the same problem.
Strange thing is, that I can burn 20 CDs of the same album, and the skips are in excactly the same place every time.

But Nero will burn my DVDs perfectly.
    Any Ideas?

That the skips appear in the same place would suggest suspect source being converted.
