  1. i was using TMPGEnc to convert a avi it's about 1 hour and30 mins, and after it's finished there is no sound, but it plays fine in avi format, what did i do wrong?I used the regular template came with TMPGEnc, NTSC VCD

  3. Use VirtuallDub to separate the sound from the video. Start VDub, click "file->open video file" and open your AVI. Then click "Audio->full processing mode" and then under "Audio->conversion" you change sampling rate to 44100Hz (if its a VCD you want to make). Then you just save the sound to a wav file using "File->save wav".
    When your going to encode the AVI to MPEG in TMPGEnc use the wav file as sound sorce. This should work just fine, it atleast does for me.
