    Hey guys,

I just backed up my Kingdom of Heaven last night, and it works great as I used DVD Decrypter -> DVD Rebuilder Pro. However I noticed a slight quality loss and I now want to backup my movies in full with no loss. I don't care if I have to use 2 DVD-R's for one DVD-9 movie, me needs the quality!

My question is simply how do I use a dual-layer DVD-R disc? I'm going to buy some tonight but I thought I'd ask in advance how it works. I have the DVDFab guide from this site bookmarked and it looks pretty straightforward, but I just wanted to know that if I backup my Finding Nemo to a DL DVD-R, then will it play by flipping the disc in the player to get to the other side?

And when burning, do I flip the disc and it will read as though it were a 2nd blank disc?

I haven't used DL yet, so just wondering, thanks in advance!!

Where are you getting double sided, dual layer discs from? I'd love to get 17GB per burnable disc even at $20 or more per disc.

There is no flipping of sides then. You just burn as you normally would with dual layer supported software. Just to let you know these discs will only be readable in players/recorders/burners that support the DL media.
