DVD Rebuilder - but be warned..If you enable steal space from extras, it may steal the space from other episodes other than the largest one..So, in that case you would use an addon such as RBOpt to get around that. Both a freeware version is available, as well as payware ($30?) with more features that won't ever be in the freebie.

I agree completely. DVD-RB works well with CCE. If you haven't ever used it before, start with the free version and the Rockas Installer:

You might consider removing the extras before doing the backup, DON'T "Steal Space From Extras", and all the episodes should wind up with pretty much the same quality.
Later, if you decide you like it, you might consider upgrading to the Pro version. -
cool, I'd tried it before briefly but I didn't realise it done full disc backups I though it was just main movie, I'll give it another blast
