    Is there anyway to make this record straight through a tape without dividing it into titles? It took my VHS and it made titles where there were slight breaks (20s intervals). Also, is there a way for it to just play all at the menu rather than showing the menu?

    I'm considering the RDR-VX515 as well and was not aware that this behavior couldn't be defeated. Have you tried the timer recording?

    On the other hand, 20 seconds is a pretty substantial gap and it seems a chapter break might be desired there anyway.

    Other than that, how do you like it?

    Its not a chapter break, its a title break. It noticed a little blip in the VHS so made another title in the main menu

    this caused my program to have 10 titles when it was only one.
