Can you make it so you limit it to 8x preferable as a default burn speed?
TIA

DVD Shrink does not actually burn, it can integrate itself with several utilities that do the burn. You set your burn speed in those particular utilities and not in Shrink.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -

I *think* if burning with DVDDecrypter you actually have to press the start button to start burning (whereas Nero can start straight away), so you could probably change the burn speed each time at this point. AFAIK there's no "setting" in DVDShrink, Nero or DVDDecrypter that allows you to nominate a default burning speed, but I could be wrong. If in doubt, Google it. -
Well I know Shrink doesn't do the actual burning, but in Shrink their is a burn speed selection it's the last tab in back it up.

I've often wondered why that setting is there. Even if you set it to something besides maximum whatever your default software burning package is set to is the speed it will burn. Most guides say to select the burn speed to match your drive/media's maximum allowed speed, but no matter what setting shrink is set to, the burning software and media determines the speed and drive which the shrunk volume will be burned at.

Shrink to ISO. Then burn ISO with whatever, with full control over the burner app settings.
